Tee Ball is for first time players age 4-6. In Tee Ball, players hit off a batting tee. Tee Ball team rosters are kept small (typically 5-6 players) to maximize hitting and fielding opportunities for each player. Players hit a soft, safety ball off a batting tee and run one base at a time, while fielders learn to field the ball and throw to first base. Every player bats and plays the field every inning. All players are safe on the bases.
