Umpiring is one of the most important aspects of any Little League Program. As our league continues to grow, additional umpires are needed to cover the additional games. Please consider signing up, no experience is necessary - FREE training is provided by our experienced umpires. For more details or to volunteer please email the Umpire in Chief, uic@cyall.org.

Umpire Training

We provide training for all umpires. If this is your first time umpiring, as either a youth umpire or an adult – training is required. And, if you’ve been umpiring for a while, please consider attending our training as a refresher. The training is in two parts; virtual training about the rules, and on-field training about the mechanics of working behind the plate or making calls on the bases.

Virtual session on Rules: Sunday, March 10, 2024, at 1:00 pm, lasting 2 hours. We will send you the information making the connection ahead of time.

On-field session on Mechanics: Sunday March 17, 2024, at 1:00 pm on Chantilly Park field 3, lasting 2 hours.
